LaGrange Police Seeking Man In Church Theft Of More Than $200K -

LAGRANGE, GA- The LaGrange Police Department is seeking to locate a person they would like to speak with in connection to two separate theft investigations that are totaling losses of more than $200,000.

LaGrange police are seeking to locate Howard Lester. Police say Lester was a former Elder at Broad Street Church of Christ in LaGrange. He was also formerly employed at Floors on Commerce in LaGrange. Police suspect Lester stole money in his roles at the church and his employment at the flooring store.

Police say Lester is wanted for felony theft in connection to embezzling over $200,000 from the churches business account, when he was an elder at the church. Police are also seeking Lester on charges of felony theft for depriving a customer of over $6,000 during his time of employment at the flooring store.
