SAVANNAH, GA- Savannah investigators are investigating a double shooting on Thursday afternoon, that claimed the life of one person and left another injured. Police are now working to gather evidence to find the person responsible for fatally shooting a juvenile in the incident.
Savannah Police were called to the 700 block of 57th Street on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 3:36 p.m. in reference to shooting. When officers arrived they located a juvenile that had sustained a gunshot injury and was unresponsive. The victim was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah for treatment, but later succumb to his injuries. Police have not identified the victim at this time.
Police located an adult male victim in a car near the site of the original shooting. That victim had also sustained gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
