NORCROSS, GA- Vice investigators in Gwinnett County have announced the arrest of a 36-year-old man, they suspect was attempting to entice a 14-year-old female. The suspect traveled across several counties to meet up with the underage victim, but was greeted by police who placed him into custody.
Investigators with the Gwinnett County VICE Unit conducted an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation on January 5, 2026. According to Gwinnett County Police the undercover investigation involved a man who believed he was communicating with a 14-year-old female over the internet.
During the course of the conversations the 36-year-old suspect is said to have sent explicit pictures of himself to the 14-year-old girl and requested to meet up with the female.
Gwinnett County Police have identified the suspect as Jonathan Dismang, 36, of McDonough, Ga. Police Dismang traveled to a prearranged location in Norcross to meet up with the 14-year-old female that he was communicating with. Upon his arrival he was arrested and taken into custody by Gwinnett County Police.
Dismang has been charged with use of a computer service to solicit a child to commit illegal acts, criminal attempt to commit a felony, and obscene internet contact with a child. He is currently being held in the Gwinnettt County Jail without bond. The case remains under investigation.
