CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA- The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to locate a 23-year-old man they say fled from deputies on foot Wednesday. They ask anyone that may know the whereabouts of the man to contact 911.
According to information released by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for 23-year-old Joshua Jonathan Joseph.
Officials say a suspect fled on foot following a police chase on Ramply Trail near Patriot Trail. The sheriff’s office says the suspect was last seen near Sam Nelson Road. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office describes Joseph as a 23-year-old black male, standing 6’1″ tall and weighing 160 lbs.
Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Joseph is asked to call 911.
UPDATE: Cherokee County officials were able to take Joseph into custody.
