BIBB COUNTY, GA- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a 22-year-old man in connection to a triple shooting at a Macon gas station last month. The shooting left three people with injuries and the suspect on the run for more than a month.
On September 21, 2025, at 4:42 p.m., deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office apprehended 21-year-old Khaleel Maurice Taylor of Macon, at a convenience store on Rocky Creek Road in Bibb County.
Taylor had been a suspect in an August 1, 2025, aggravated assault investigation. According to reports from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 12:00 a.m., deputies responded to the area of 1106 Rocky Creek Road in reference to a call of shots fired.
When deputies arrived they located a 20-year-old male and a 19-year-old male, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and transported the two victims to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators later found that a third shooting victim had been transported to a local hospital by a personal vehicle.
Investigators began to piece the events of the shooting together and identified Taylor as a suspect in the shooting. He was taken into custody on September 21, 2025. Taylor has been booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is currently facing two charges of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting.
