ATLANTA, GA- An Atlanta area high school junior was killed in a two vehicle accident in the Buckhead area of Atlanta on Saturday. Limited details about the crash have been released at this time as the investigation is still on going.
According to Atlanta Police, on Saturday, September 13, 2025, officers with APD responded to the area of Roswell Road NE and Laurel Forest Circle NE in reference to an automobile accident involving two vehicles.
When officers arrived on the scene they discovered that two vehicles identified as a motorcycle and a Sports Utility Vehicle had collided in the area. Police say the driver of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the SUV was injured, but the injuries were listed as non-life threatening.
The driver of the motorcycle has been identified as Benjamin Reiser. Reiser was a junior at Mount Vernon School in Atlanta and had formerly attended Galloway School. Grief counselors were and the campuses of both schools on Monday.
At this time an investigation continues into the fatal crash, but no charges have been filed. The investigation is being led by the Atlanta Police Department’s Accident Investigations Unit.
