CLARKSTON, GA- The DeKalb County Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting on early Thursday morning that claimed the life of two people. The shooting took place at an apartment complex that is known for violence including murders.
DeKalb County Police were called to the Brannon Hill Condominiums on Old Hampton Road in the Clarkston on Thursday, January 22, 2026, shortly before 2 a.m. in reference to a shooting. Police responded to the 6000 block of Brannon Hill Road in the complex.
Responding officers arrived to the scene and located a vehicle where the bodies of two males were located. The males had sustained gunshot wounds. DeKalb Police have released no additional details about the fatal shootings at this time, but do confirm both victims had succumb to their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and additional details should be released soon.
