ATLANTA, GA- Police in Atlanta are investigating a shooting on Thursday night at an Atlanta area transit station. The shooting left a 14-year-old victim with injuries and police looking for the shooter.
According to Atlanta Police on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10:03 p.m., officers with APD responded to 70 Hamilton E. Holmes Drive NW in reference to a person shot. The address matches the address of the Hamilton E. Holmes Marta Station on the west line.
When responding officers arrived on the scene they were able to locate a 14-year-old male victim. Police say the victim was shot once in the right leg. The shooting victim was alert, conscious, and breathing when officers arrive. He was transported to an Atlanta area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Investigators with APD’s Aggravated Assault Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Police have announced no arrests or motive at this time and an active investigation is on going in the case. The victim is expected to survive his injuries.
